RULES AND EXPECTATIONS

Rules and Expectations will be handed out during the 1st week of practice. We will require that each participant and parent sign the document to ensure that rules and expectations are clear.

Some other things to remember:

DO NOT allow your child to have their ears pierced right before or during the season. No jewelry is allowed per the Pop Warner National Rules. This is to protect the children from injury. If your child is wearing jewelry, it will need to be removed or they will not be allowed to practice or participate on game day.
National Pop Warner Rules require 20 hours of conditioning before we can begin to stunt.
No outside practices are allowed. If you have any concerns about this, please contact the Cheer Coordinator.

TEAM PARENT

We need team parents for each squad.  (Please let the Cheer Coordinator or your Head Coach know if you are interested in helping out.)
Possible Team Mom/Dad Responsibilities: Help the coach provide communications to the squad parents (i.e. Practices, fund raisers).
Prepare the fruit at the games and coordinate snacks for the end of the game. Fruit will be provided for the 3rd quarter. The Team Parent will put the fruit and provided drinks into cups for the squad.
Coordinate the preparation of the spirit sticks. (each squad usually prepares 2 spirit sticks per cheerleader to throw out into the crowd during games. Spirit sticks are toilet paper rolls filled with candy and wrapped in aluminum foil).
