Lake Howell High School Open House Conflict with Thursday Practice
Due to an Open House at the High School on Thursday, September 2nd, LHPW practice for that night needs to be moved. This practice will be moved to Friday, September 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00PM
Freshman & JV games on Wednesday prevented LHPW from moving it to that date.
To summarize, the practice schedule for this week is:
- Monday: 6:00-8:00PM
- Tuesday: 6:00-8:00PM
- Friday: 6:00-8:00PM

This Saturday Lake Howell will host Dr. Phillips in the Kickoff Classic. This is a controlled scrimmage against an non-division opponent to help us prpeare for our season opener against Clermont. There game will be 4 quarters, 10 minutes each with a continuous running clock. No special teams except for extra points following a touchdown. Field Goals will also be allowed.
Football: Please show up an hour and a half (1 1/2 hours) before game time for weigh-ins and pregame warmup.
Cheer: Please show up one hour prior to game time for book check and warm up.

Parents & Participants just a reminder now that we are out of the conditioning phase of practice we will be moving to 3 days, or 6 hours per week for the remainder of the season. Although normally scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, please be sure to check the ‘Calendar’ section of the website for weeks where we have conflicts with the High School schedule and have to move practice.
We will use Wednesday and Friday as make up days in the event practice is canceled due to inclement weather or other issue that forces us to reschedule, providing that those days do not conflict with a High School event.
