Registration for the 2012 Football and Cheer season is open! Below is a list of the upcoming registration dates and times. Teams will fill up fast so don’t delay!
Saturday, May 19th – Red Bug Lake Park (Pavilion B)- 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 23rd – Red Bug Lake Park (Front Area by Basketball Courts)- 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Documents needed:
– Two (2) Copies of Completed 2012 Registration Form*
– A physical dated after January 1, 2012
– Signed Participant/Player Contract*
– Birth Certificate: Original or Certified copy of plus an additional copy for our records
– Driver License, Passport, or Florida ID showing current address of Parent or Guardian
– Copy of Final Report Card for 2012 (this will be collected at the end of the school year)
– Registration Fee** (cash or check, Please make check payable to ‘LHPWLS’)
– Football: $200
– Cheerleading: $285
* All forms can be found on the “Forms” page of this site.
** $50 non-refundable deposit is acceptable but registration in full is preferred.
Head coaching applications for both football and cheer are due by February 12th. You may download the volunteer form HERE. You may also access it by going to the ‘Forms’ page on this website and choosing 2012 Volunteer Form. Please get your coaching application in by the February 12th deadline, as late forms will not be considered.

- All football head coach prospects are required to have a minimum of one year tackle football coaching experience (two years preferred) within Lake Howell Pop Warner to be considered for a football head coaching position.
- All cheer head coach prospects are required to have a minimum of one year coaching experience (two years preferred) within Lake Howell Pop Warner to be considered for a cheer head coaching position.
- The Coaching Selection Committee may, at its discretion, waive the above requirement based on a majority vote with written justification to the Board of Directors.
All applications will be reviewed by the Coaching Selection Committee and interviews will be setup for sometime in late February and announced on LAKEHOWELLHAWKS.COM

Please arrive 30 mins. prior to game time.
All Game day WINNERS are to report to the Citrus Bowl Field at 6:00PM, to participate in the final Championship Bracket.
ADMISSION: Please remember that all proceeds to benefit breast cancer awareness
- All Day Admission: $8.00 for Adults
- $5.00 for School Age – Non –school age = Free
NO WEIGH-IN. Book/roster check only.
CONCESSIONS: NO COOLERS –Food and beverage will be available for purchase.
SEATING: Please feel free to bring chairs and/or tents, depending on the field there will be limited bleacher seating.
The Lake Howell High School administration has graciously reconsidered moving our game times for this Saturday’s upcoming games. This means that all games will be played at their originally posted times. Thank you LHHS!
As a concession, the High School has asked for our cooperation with parking. Please park to the east of the cafeteria, similar to where we park for practices.

FOOTBALL WEIGH-INS
Football weigh-ins will be conducted 1 hour prior to game time in the building just inside the entrance to the field to the left.
PARKING
Due to homecoming events we will be limited to the extreme east side of the parking lot. This will be evident when entering the lot.
Initial inspection of the playing field is positive. We are going to attempt to play our games today beginning with the Tiny Mites at 9AM followed by the regular schedule. We will be constantly re-evaluating field conditions throughout the day as we know that there is rain in the forecast.
There is a strong possibility that later games may be be rescheduled IF conditions deteriorate considerably.

As of now all games are still a go. No decision will be made until tomorrow morning regarding the playability of the field. As of now please plan on playing at your regularly scheduled time.
South Orlando Games Postponed -Due to field conditions and player safety Lake Howell is postponing all games to Sunday October 9th. Same game times will apply. Please monitor the website and facebook for updates.
Due to a make-up softball tournament this evening, the high school has asked us to move our practices to Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week.
Summary of this week’s Practice Schedule:
- All Cheer: Tues, Wed, Thurs
- Football TM, MM, JPW, PW, JM: Tues, Wed, Thurs
- Sr. Midget Football: Mon, Tues, Thurs (remains same)
Practice Location:
Sr. Midgets please note: You will be moved to the Varsity practice field behind the actual high school this evening. Some of the board members will arrive by 5:30 to direct you where to go.
You can access the varsity practice field you can access the field in two ways:
1. Park in front of the school in the main parking lot and use the entrance to the right of administration (where we held equipment pickup) and walk straight back until you reach the grass.
2. Park in front of the stadium and stay to the left of the gate we normally use for entrance to our pop warner games, there is an access gate and walkway back to the varsity practice field.
Please respect the high school grounds and keep children from wandering off unattended, or running/playing in hallways and courtyards.
Practice is cancelled for Monday. Will resume on Tuesday & Thursday. Makeup practice on Wednesday is tentative at this point. Stay tuned!
